SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio crime incident occurred early this morning at the Northwest Side of the city. Now, San Antonio police are investigating both a shooting and a break-in of a vehicle. At about 5:30 in the morning, officers received a call. The call brought them to an apartment complex located by the intersection of Babcock Road and Callaghan Road.

What happened? Police received information from the owner of a black pickup truck. Two people were spotted attempting to break into the truck. With the commotion, the truck’s owner came outside to see what was going on. At that time, the two perpetrators fired shots at the owner. The truck owner reported to police that he ducked to avoid the shots and to escape injuries. The bullet casing landed only a short distance away from him.

However, before he could approach them and before they could engage any further, the two people jumped into a blue sedan. The perpetrators then fled the scene of the crime in the car.

Now, police are investigating the San Antonio crime and searching for the two people. Supposedly they are a man and a woman, allegedly in their mid-20s. Currently, police are searching for any possible surveillance camera footage near the area.

Right now, it is unclear where the suspects fled and what their motives are. Police are still investigating the crime and more information should be available to the public when it is known.
